Homiest throw blankets
A cable knit set with two matching pillow covers, a fringed fleece throw, and a satin cover that ties over a weighted blanket.
02What decides it
Three answers to a cold sofa
Cable knit sets with matching pillow covers, fringed fleece throws, and a satin cover that ties over a weighted blanket.
The cable knit is the dressed-up answer: a 50 by 60 acrylic throw and two pillow covers in the same stitch, so an armchair corner agrees with itself. The fleece throw is the workhorse, fringe and all, at a price that lets it live wherever the dog does.
The odd one out has ties. The satin cover wraps a 60 by 80 weighted blanket, closes with eight inner ties, and washes far easier than the blanket it protects. All three are sofa pieces: none of them belongs in a crib, and the nursery shelf explains why.

Homiest throw blankets: questions
The three things people ask us about throw blankets before they choose a size.
Can you machine wash a Homiest cable knit throw?
Cold and gentle, then flat to dry. The throw and its pillow covers are acrylic knit: the machine does not scare it, but a hot dryer will relax the cables and a hanger will stretch a wet knit into a longer, sadder one.
Is a Homiest throw safe for your baby’s crib?
No blanket is: pediatric guidance keeps cribs bare beyond a fitted sheet, and every throw here is a sofa piece for adult hands. The nursery shelf carries the two covers actually cut for baby furniture, and the guidance itself is linked, with the date we read it, in how we keep it.
Will the Homiest weighted blanket cover fit your blanket?
A 60 by 80 inch weighted blanket, queen-bed size. Eight inner ties hold the heavy insert in its corners so the weight cannot migrate into one end, and the satin shell washes on cold far more happily than a fifteen pound blanket ever will.
