01Cut from the bolt since 2018
Measure first: the mattress corner, the table top, the pattern piece. Every card here prints the size in inches, the piece count and the fibre, so you order once and nothing arrives four inches short.
Satin and bamboo rayon bedding, flanged shams, knitted throws, wedding-grade napkins and tablecloths, nursery covers in minky dot, and the satin, minky and cotton they are cut from, on the roll.

02The dye lots
Pick the surface, not the fibre: a mattress, a pillow, a sofa arm, a banquet table, a changing pad. Whatever is unavailable today is not shown, so every count you see is a piece you can actually order.
Nine shelves, one cutting table, and every piece on all of them belongs to the Homiest shelves.
03Most bought
Ranked by ratings and thinned by colour family, so four shades of one pillowcase never crowd the row. If you want the short answer to what Homiest is for, it is these four.

04From the bolt
Most linen brands buy fabric and sell bedding. We sell both, and that changes how the catalogue reads.
Turn any piece here over and you meet the same cloth twice. The satin in a $6.99 pillowcase is the satin on the $4.99 roll: polyester woven with long floats so the surface catches light and lets a cheek slide. The minky dot on a nursing pillow cover is the minky sold by the yard one shelf over, pile two to three millimetres deep. When you know the bolt, you can judge the sewn piece, and the other way round.
That is also why the figures matter more than usual. A yard of our satin is 58 inches wide; a yard of minky runs 60. A napkin is 17 or 20 inches square, hemmed. You can check the arithmetic of anything against the cloth it came from, and the guide to satin walks the weave itself.
What we will not do is dress the fibre up. Nothing on this site is silk. The bedding called bamboo is rayon spun from bamboo pulp, named the way the fibre rules require, and the reasons stand in plain sight on the bamboo shelf.
Satin shine is geometry, not coating: long threads floating over the weave. There is nothing to rub off in the machine, so a cold, gentle cycle keeps the face bright for years while a hot iron can dull it in a pass.

05The bed, dressed in figures
The sleeping surface wants a fibre picked for your nights, and the headboard wants its square row. Every card in Homiest linens prints the size and the piece count, because a set that arrives one pillowcase short is a set you remember.

06Close to the weave
Frames from our own galleries: the float of the satin, the dot of the minky, the flange on a sham and the drop of a tablecloth. Each caption names the exact colourway shown.

07Four fibres
Four names cover nearly everything on these shelves. None of them is silk, none of them is magic, and the one called bamboo is rayon. What differs is how the surface feels, how it washes and what it costs.
A weave, not a fibre: long floats give the shine and the slide. Cold gentle wash, line or low dry. A hot iron flattens the floats and takes the light out.
Rayon spun from bamboo pulp: cool touch, heavy drape, wicks moisture. The plant does not survive into the thread, so we name the fibre, not the grass.
Knitted polyester pile with the raised dot a small hand grabs. Warm wash, tumble low, and never an iron: the pile melts before the wrinkle does.
Fine polyester brushed until it naps. The workhorse of sheet sets: light, forgiving in the wash, dry in half a cycle.
| Cloth | Machine wash | Dryer | Iron |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polyester satin | Cold, gentle cycle | Low, or line dry | Cool only, inside out |
| Bamboo rayon | Cold, gentle cycle | Low, remove damp | Low if needed |
| Brushed microfiber | Warm or cold | Low | Rarely needs one |
| Minky plush | Warm, gentle cycle | Tumble low | Never |
| Cotton broadcloth | Warm | Medium | Medium, damp |
| Acrylic knit | Cold, gentle cycle | Flat dry | Never |
Every fibre in the Homiest lineup keeps its proper name on the card, next to the size.
08The sewing counter
The same cloth the bedding is cut from, flat on the roll: satin at 58 inches wide, minky at 60, plus trims by the 10 and 11 yard card. Buy the yard first when you doubt a colour; it is the cheapest swatch Homiest sells.

09Choosing a sheet
Three fibres answer the same question three ways. The row that usually decides it is the one about heat: shine sleeps cool and slides, rayon sleeps coolest, microfiber holds warmth and forgives everything.
| Polyester satin | Bamboo rayon | Brushed microfiber | |
|---|---|---|---|
| The face | Lustrous, slides under a cheek | Matte, cool, heavy drape | Napped, soft, warm |
| A queen set costs | $23.99 to $28.99 | $26.99 to $35.99 | $14.99 and up |
| Fitted pocket | 15 in | 16 in | 15 to 24 in by set |
| In the wash | Cold and gentle, low dry | Cold and gentle, low dry | Warm, low dry |
| Choose it for | Hair, skin and shine | Hot sleepers | Everyday beds and budgets |
All three columns live in the Homiest catalogue, so the choice is a fibre, never a different shop.
10The table, the sofa and the nursery
The same cutting-table logic runs to the end of the house: napkins counted by seats, a tablecloth chosen by its drop, a throw for the sofa arm and covers cut to hug a changing pad.

11By the name people type
Five pages, each one a single line of the catalogue laid out by size and colour. If you already know the thing you want from Homiest, start here rather than at a shelf.
Fitted sheets sold alone from $12.99, deep pocket four-piece sets and ruffled six-piece sets, Twin to Cal King, all with the 15 inch pocket. The line where one worn-out fitted sheet does not cost you a whole new set.
All 12, by size and colour →Scalloped-edge satin napkins in 17 and 20 inch squares, packed 12 to 100. A wedding of eighty needs a hundred, and the hundred-pack prices each one at 38 cents.
All 6, by size and colour →Rayon derived from bamboo, named the way the fibre rules require: sheet sets with 16 inch pockets from $20.99, cool to the touch and heavy in the drape, for the sleeper who runs hot.
All 5, by size and colour →12Before you pick a size
A tape measure answers more than the questions further down this page. Measuring twice is a Homiest habit: take these six readings and the size picks itself.
Read the height from seam to seam. Up to 13 inches, a 15 inch pocket holds; 14 inches wants the 16 inch bamboo pocket; anything taller belongs to the 18 to 24 inch extra deep set.
A 26 inch euro sham fills out with a 26 inch insert, seams just tense. Buy the sham a size down from the insert if you like a fat cushion; never a size up, or the corners hang empty.
Twin and Twin XL differ by five inches of length, and a college dorm is almost always the XL. Check the mattress label before the sheet order, not after.
Our satin bolt is 58 inches wide, so one yard is a 36 by 58 rectangle: six 18 inch napkin squares with hem allowance, or a standard pillowcase front and back with room to spare.
One napkin per seat, then a quarter more for laps, spills and the photographer. A table of eight wants ten; a wedding of eighty wants a hundred, which is exactly why the 100 packs exist.
A 60 inch round cloth on a 40 inch table drops 10 inches all round; the 84 inch round dresses the same table to the floor. On a six foot banquet table, 60 by 84 leaves a neat 6 inch fall at the ends.
13Read before writing
Four documents sit behind the words on these pages. Each was opened and read before a line here relied on it, and each is linked with the date we read it.
Cloth made from bamboo as a plant source is rayon, and that is the name we print. No antibacterial or eco claim rides on the word bamboo anywhere on this site.

Turning over on memory foam
If you have trouble turning over in bed, this is the answer to your problem! I have a memory foam mattress and as a senior, I find it hard to turn over or move to a different position. There are several products available to help with this, but most were for caregivers to use with bedridden patients. I stumbled on this by accident, while searching for bedding. I only purchased the fitted sheet. Put it on my mattress and was blown away by how easy it was to turn over in bed at night. And an added bonus, it feels amazingly luxurious!

A mattress that got thinner
I’ll start off by saying these sheets are great if you need a true deep pocket sheet. They’re basically tucked halfway under my mattress. That’s completely my fault. I no longer have a deep mattress and simply forgot. The feel of these sheets is very nice. They keep me cool at night which is important for me. There is a nice trim on the edge of the shams but not the flat sheet. I won’t use the flat sheet so it’s no big deal, but if you’re looking for that aesthetic when making the bed, if keep looking. It also comes with 2 sets of shams which is great. The color is exactly as shown on the site. For the price, these can’t be beat. I plan on ordering more for my other beds in the house.

Washed before the first night
This came packaged nicely. I washed it before putting it all the way on the bed, but I did try it out just to be sure it would fit as I have a deep pocket twin mattress. I washed this by itself and on a cold setting and it did not cause it to shrink. Then tumble dried with a low setting for able 15-20 mins and it turned out great. This fits the mattress perfectly. I love how it feels and keep me cooler at night especially with how warm the weather is right now. The sheet is kind of a thinner sheet which is nice but does not take away from the quality.

A hot sleeper’s family bed
Feels great & doesn’t slip off the bed the way other satin sheets do. Def recommend. I got a cal king for my king & it fits great. Does get kinda hot if ur a sweaty sleeper but it works for my family.

A pillow between the knees
It’s very soft and a bit cold which is to be expected. I don’t mind it, but if you’re like me and you like putting the body pillow between your legs sometimes, it’ll be very cold at first. Great quality for it’s price and beautiful emerald green shade.

A craft, not a gown
It was very nice. I used it for a craft and it worked out very well. I would not want to use it for a formal dress because while it is good quality it is not the highest quality. It was perfect for my needs. Good color, soft and did not fray too much if cut with a sharp blade or scissors. I would order again.

A blush hunted down
Super soft! Wanted a blush throw to accent my room this was a perfect color blush, not too pink and not too peach. Good quality and thickness love the fringe gives it a different touch. Quite a few visitors have commented on how pretty and soft it is!

Burp cloths for a shower
I bought this material to make a set of "luxury" burp cloths for a friend’s baby shower. I usually buy fabric in person so I can feel it first, but I took a gamble on this Minky and I’m so glad I did. If you’ve ever used cheap minky that sheds like a husky in summer, you’ll be happy to know this is much higher quality.
★★★★★
A photo backdrop
I’m currently using this sheet for an aesthetic background for photos & videos, and it works great! It helps me create professional photos. I love to use the "wrinkle method" and it looks beautiful. I attached a photo for anyone who wants to see how pretty it looks!
15About the brand
A linen brand that also sells its cloth flat on the roll has nowhere to hide: you can hold the yard against the pillowcase and check our arithmetic.
On the market since 2018, 8 years of cutting the same bolts into 78 pieces across nine shelves. The bed came first and did not stay the whole of it: the same satin turned into napkins, the minky into nursery covers, and the rolls themselves went on open sale.

16Before you order
Silk or not, cool or not, how the wash goes, and where a Homiest order actually happens.
No, and the price is the first honest signal: a standard pillowcase runs $6.99. This is polyester satin, which means the shine comes from the weave itself: long floats of thread that catch light and let skin and hair slide. You get the surface silk is famous for, machine-washable, at a fraction of the keep.
They read cool to the touch and wick moisture, which is what a hot sleeper actually feels at 2 a.m. The fibre is rayon derived from bamboo, named the way federal fibre rules require, and it drapes heavier than cotton so it settles against you instead of tenting heat.
Cold water, gentle cycle, low dryer or a line, and keep the iron away from the face of the cloth. The shine is geometry, not coating: nothing rubs off in the machine, but a hot iron flattens the floats that make it. Where a sewn-in label says otherwise, follow the label.
Through the buying button beside any piece on this site. It opens the piece with our retail partner, where payment, delivery and returns are handled. Prices move between our updates, so the figure at the till is the one that counts.
Yes, and it is the cheapest swatch order you can place: the satin on the roll is the satin in the pillowcases, the minky dot by the yard is the cloth on the nursery covers. Buy a yard, hold it against the room, then commit the bed or the table.
