Terms of Service
These terms cover homiest.org. Using the site means reading its figures, holding them against your own bed, table or pattern, and following its links. They are written for that use and no other.
What this site is
This is the Homiest catalogue: satin and bamboo rayon bedding, sheet sets and shams, throws, table linens, sewing trims, nursery covers, and the same cloth flat on the roll by the yard, with the size, the piece count and the fibre printed where you can read them before you decide. It is a reference, not a checkout. Our retail partner takes the payment, ships the parcel and handles any return, and the contract of sale is formed there, on their terms.
Cribs, covers and the nursery
Two of our covers live next door to a crib, so the crib rules come first. The pediatric guidance on safe sleep asks for a firm, flat surface and a fitted sheet only: no blankets, pillows, soft toys or bumpers in with the baby. Nothing on our nursery shelf goes inside a crib, and no throw on this site is a baby blanket. A changing pad and its table are the regulated product, with barrier and restraint requirements written into federal law; a cover is not. Its whole job is to hug the pad tightly and leave the restraint straps usable, and a cover loose enough to bunch is a cover to refit before the next change. Never step away from a baby on a changing table, strapped or not.
That note is written out of public guidance rather than out of our own testing. Every source behind it is named, with the date it was read, on the page about how this catalogue is kept.
Figures and photographs
Sizes, piece counts, thread counts and fibres come from our product data. Prices move; the figure at the till is the one that counts, and where the two disagree, the till wins. Photographs show the cloth being sold rather than a styled substitute, and a frame that argues with its caption is pulled rather than captioned around.
