Trim is bought in panic more often than planned, halfway through a costume or a cushion, so the cards here run long: eleven yards of inch-and-a-half ruffled satin, enough to edge a full crib skirt or two pillow fronts with yard to spare. White, black, baby blue and blush pink cover the classic jobs.
The pom pom ribbon comes in a 13 millimetre ball on a one inch tape and a 6 millimetre ball on a half inch tape. Small balls turn a hem playful; the big ones read from across a room and carry a curtain edge. Both sew flat under a standard foot.

Can you sew Homiest pom pom trim on a home machine?
Yes: the balls hang off a flat woven tape, and the tape rides under a standard presser foot. Stitch along the tape’s centre, keep the balls to the left of the needle, and go slowly at corners so a ball never rolls under the foot.
Will Homiest ruffle trim match your satin bedding?
The white, black, baby blue and blush pink cards sit in the same colour families as the satin sheets and pillowcases, so an edge sewn onto a plain case reads as one set. Under a bright window expect a shade of difference between dye lots, as with any satin.
